Happy Halloween weekend…

Please read and learn!

I wish everyone a wonderful Happy Halloween 2021!
Enjoy the weekend!!!

However, just one note to add because I had a look at the education statistics from the official website DESTATIS – Statistisches Bundesamt of Germany.

https://www.destatis.de/DE/Themen/Gesellschaft-Umwelt/Bildung-Forschung-Kultur/Bildungsstand/aktuell-bildungsstand.html

Very interesting numbers, charts and comments.
I interpret this as a sad prognosis for the land of poets and thinkers… And the pandemic is making it even worse!

That’s something that scares me most for Halloween.

Kids that use their computers, mobile phones and other gadgets most of the time for trivial entertainment rather than for educational stuff.
(And yes, it’s OK to read a book with Kindle on a tablet or smartphone if you find turning pages in a real book to old school… 😉 )

Kids that can not solve simple mathematical equations without using a gadget.
Kids who think Capital Bra invented the music and never heard of Beethoven and his genius.
Kids who don’t know anything about psychology, art or the nature surrounding them.
Kids would not find home without using Google Maps…. and so on!!!

Come on folks give it a try! Take a good book or whatever you’re interested in reading to learn something and get out into the nature, enjoy the last sunshine days and read!

Forget all those silly, funny and distracting internet or TV platform time-wasters and educate yourself.

Only education and wisdom will save our planet.

Regards

p.s.: …don’t get me wrong! I’m a real computer nerd and -enthusiast myself since the beginning of that technical era! And I would lie if I said: „Away with all that new technical shit!“ Noooo!!! All my technical expertise and know-how started with Pong on Atari. But using it for the right things and understand how it works and what is it useful for… THAT IS THE SECRET! 😉
